WavePaint Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This policy explains how WavePaint processes personal data when you visit wavepaint.net or use the WavePaint browser application. The data controller is WavePaint, operated by Mariano Olmos MartÃn in Spain. Contact: contact@wavepaint.net.
Waveform data
Your waveform projects, imported files, annotations, and exports are processed locally in your browser unless a feature explicitly tells you otherwise. The editor does not upload the diagram you are drawing to WavePaint servers. Browser storage may remember editor preferences or locally saved state.
Website and server data
Our hosting provider may record limited technical logs, including IP address, requested URL, date and time, user agent, referrer, and security events. This information is used to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service and is retained only as reasonably necessary or required by law.
Information you submit
If you contact us or voluntarily join a product-update list, we process the details you provide to answer the request or provide the requested communication. WavePaint does not sell email addresses or waveform content.
Analytics and advertising
WavePaint may use Google services, including Site Kit, Analytics, and AdSense, to understand site use and fund free access. Depending on your location and consent, Google and its partners may process identifiers, cookie information, approximate location, device information, and interactions with content or ads. Where consent is required, non-essential storage and personalised advertising must not be used before valid consent.
Read how Google uses information from partner sites and manage advertising choices in My Ad Center.
Legal bases and service providers
Depending on the activity, processing is based on a requested service or contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing WavePaint, consent for non-essential cookies or communications, or a legal obligation. Hosting, security, measurement, and advertising providers may process data for us. International transfers use an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful mechanism where required.
Your rights
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email contact@wavepaint.net. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency or your local supervisory authority.
Children and changes
WavePaint is a technical tool and is not directed to children under 13. This policy may be updated when the service or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
